Withdrawal & refunds
Contract terms and refund provisions.
Try the software before buying
For software products with a free demo available at the time of purchase, SecurStar offers no additional voluntary money-back guarantee. Please test the appropriate demo on your system before purchasing.
This provision concerns voluntary refunds. Statutory withdrawal and defect rights remain unaffected. The availability of a demo alone does not remove a statutory right of withdrawal.
Request demo download access →Digital content and statutory withdrawal rights
For paid digital content supplied without a physical medium, the statutory right of withdrawal may expire early when the legal requirements are met. These include commencement of performance, your express consent to performance before the withdrawal period ends, your acknowledgement that this causes the loss of your withdrawal right, and the legally required contract confirmation.
A statement on this page alone does not satisfy these requirements. Mandatory statutory rights take precedence over any conflicting older wording in the existing document below.
Refunds
SecurStar offers a free 30 days demo version of almost all sold licensed software products.
Before purchasing any licensed software, the customer should download and test the free demo versions he is interested into. If for a specific program there is no free demo version available at the time of purchase, SecurStar offers a 14 days money back guaranty for that specific product.
For programs where a free 30 days demo version is available at the time of purchase, no additional refund (money back) policy is offered.
It is the responsibility of the customers to test the licensed software on its machines and make sure everything works flawlessly and as advertised.
Sold hardware devices are not returnable, however, in the case of damage, they can be exchanged, if returned to SecurStar within the first six months after the purchase.
