This private preview
The cart stores product identifiers, quantities and selected support locally in your browser. Continuing to PayPal sends order lines and amounts to PayPal. For enquiries, you open the existing SecurStar contact form in a new tab; your entries and message delivery are processed there.
Existing customer portal
The login form submits your login and password directly over HTTPS to the existing SecurStar customer portal. The new website does not save these credentials in browser local storage. The existing portal handles authentication and the cookies required for the session.
Demo download access
For demo registration, you continue to the existing SecurStar download area. Your email address, optional details and access confirmation are processed by that existing system. The new website does not collect or send those registration details.
Analytics & external content
We have retained Google Tag Manager container GTM-54364J from the previous website. On securstar.com and www.securstar.com, it loads on public information and shop pages only after consent to analytics and marketing. It remains blocked in the private preview, on forms, account, download, activation and checkout pages, and when URLs contain query parameters. The container may load analytics and marketing tags. Google may receive data such as IP addresses, device/browser details and page views. The publicly inspected previous configuration contains the old Universal Analytics identifiers UA-64175304-1 and UA-64175601-1; a current GA4 measurement ID still needs confirmation.
Your choice is saved locally in your browser for six months. You can change it at any time in privacy settings. Withdrawing consent stops Google tags by reloading the page and removes accessible Google analytics cookies; it does not retrieve data already transmitted. Optional tracking is based on consent. Details of active tags, recipients, possible international transfers and retention periods must be checked against the final container configuration. Google privacy information ↗
Before production launch
The final privacy notice must cover the actual hosting, payment provider, customer accounts, email delivery, retention periods and legal bases of the production system. This preview is not that final notice.
Newsletter & voucher
Direct newsletter signup on the new website is not yet connected. The voucher dialog currently opens a personal enquiry through the existing SecurStar contact form; this does not automatically subscribe you or issue a voucher. Demo registrations are handled by the existing download area.
A local timestamp is used for the popup repeat interval. Automatic display is not enabled without optional consent. Manually opening the preview does not store an email address in the browser.
